Do I need special hardware?

No! Store Check-In works on any modern tablet or touchscreen device with a web browser.

Does it work with Shopify POS?

Yes, Store Check-In works alongside Shopify POS but doesn’t require it. It’s a standalone solution.

Can customers pay through the kiosk?

Customers scan a QR code with their phone and complete checkout through your regular Shopify checkout.

Is it secure?

Yes, all data is encrypted and we follow Shopify’s security best practices. No payment information is processed on the kiosk.
